What is Indian e-Conference Visa?
Whenever a workshop, conference or seminar is organized in India on an international level, a special visa is provided to the foreign participants and this visa is called e-Conference visa.
To avail this visa type, the applicant must provide the invitation letter of the seminar/conference or workshop which is hosted by the NGOs/private institutions, government-owned institutions, UN, Specialized agencies, or any Ministry or department of the Indian government or UT administrations.

What is the Validity of the e-Conference Visa?
It allows only 30 days of stay period and it cannot be extended in any case. It only allows Single entry to the delegates.
The visa is valid for two months and the duration of validity starts from the day you receive the e-visa on your email.

What is the Application Process?
The entire process of the application can be applied online. First, you need to fill the form and enter only genuine details. Before filling the form, make sure you go through the below-given points.
- The passport must have the six months validity
- Scanned copies of passport size photo. The size of the picture cannot exceed the limit of 10MB and the dimensions of the photo should be 2In X 2In.
- You have enough money to pay the fee
- Identity and residence proofs
- An invitation letter to a seminar or conference.

How do You Get the e-Conference Visa?
Once you are done applying for e-visa, you will get the confirmation on the email. And, within 2-4 working days, you will receive it on the email you have provided in the application letter. Make sure you check the Spam folder of your email account.
Next, you need to carry the printout of the e-Visa with you and it will be stamped on the checkpoint in India.
